U15B Netball players proved that it's the performance that matters - giving your best through every minute of the match - whatever the score.

They produced their best performance of season showing outstanding commitment and determination for several reasons:

Wellington U15B's were asked to play St Edwards U15A's.

Travelled Away to Oxford knowing they would all have to play every minute of match (as 11 player squad was down to 7 players due to illness/injury).

Score was 2-8 down at end of 1st Quarter having been overrun by a strong Teddies A team- and it would have been easy to capitulate.

Team of Jess, Gabriella, Margaux, Rosie, Dasha, Bella and Biddy kept positive and played for pride, giving everything to achieve 6-6 2nd Quarter, 7-8 3rd Quarter and 5-5 4th Quarter.

Despite final score line of 20-27 they showed great team spirit, determination and responsibility to continue to play for pride until the last minute
