Match Report
Wellington College Mixed-U18C vs  Bradfield College
On: Tuesday, 13 Nov 2018
Venue: Away

Win: 10 goals to 1.

Wellington's polo squad played their first fixture of the season v Bradfield at Emsworth Polo Grounds, home of Four Quarters Polo.

Our second team buoyed on from the win of the first team entered the arena against Bradfield on a level playing field determined to secure another win for the squad. Captained by Flo, and supported by Alexis and Emily, Flo soon shoed everyone that she meant business by putting two quick goals past Bradfield. Alexis had the spectators amazed by the accuracy and power of his backhands as he turned defensive play into attacking play with some excellent change of direction backhands, and well done also to Emily who read the game very well to ensure she was in space ready to receive and take the ball towards our goal. The second chukka was our strongest as 6 goals were put past Bradfield, all three Wellington players contributing to the score! In the third chukka, the light was fading fast but Flo's determination converted into two final goals that were well deserved. Well done all!

An extra mention has to go to Bradfield's Ben Braje, our own Matilda Braje's brother who scored Bradfield's only goal. Looking forward to future sibling rivalry matches.
